The AWait-ING is inspired by Tupac Shakur’s A Rose that grew from concrete, and the stunning photograph of Adeyanuji Adeleke (@yanjusofine_) by the talented Chris Evans of Clearly Focused Media Works. This Narrative exposition represents a 26 year old Francheska at a peak of self realization, awaiting her launch while she seemingly contemplates her purpose and contribution to the world. A Wait-ING represents the Duality of oil on canvas and photography, while representing the artist’s duality of fear- fear to launch or rather to not.
